Devnet delegation visits Bureau

A delegation led by Daniel Barrios, director-general of the International Development Information Network Association (Devnet), discussed the organization's display with the Expo 2010 organizer this morning.

Chen Xianjin, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, welcomed the delegation.

Devnet will exhibit the theme "City Rescue and Harmonious Life -- Integrative International Communication & Cooperation" at a 2,000-square-meter rented pavilion. The Rome, Italy-based association will explore the role of international rescue operations in maintaining harmonious lives in the face of natural disasters.

It confirmed participation in January, 2008.
